Rocky Gathright Jr was born on December 26th, 1986 in Chicago, IL but was raised in Tamms, IL since age 5. He passed away April 22, 2024 at his home in Cape Girardeau, MO at the young age of 37.
Rocky graduated in 2006 from Egyptian High School. He enjoyed playing basketball, baseball, band but most of all trying to stay out of trouble with his friends.
Rocky was a member of Second Baptist Church since age 5 when he attended regularly with his Granny. This is where he grew his love for the lord. He always had such a strong faith in God and loved his Pastor and 1st lady who helped mold him into the incredible person we all loved.
Rocky worked at Walmart, Taco Bell, and P&G, but his most important position in life will always be, being a Dad. If you knew Rocky you knew his world revolved around his son.
