Barbara "Barb" Sue Harbison, 90, of Karnak, passed away at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Metropolis.Barb was born Feb. 8, 1934, in Belknap.Barb loved having family gatherings. She loved to cook and especially loved to crochet.She is survived by two sons, Tommy (Jean) Harbison of Swansea, and James Harbison of Eastern Kentucky; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Harold Harbison (1994); a son Cecil Harbison; two daughters Becky Alsip and Bernell "B-Ann" Hirtz; and sister Phyllis Riley.Memorial services honoring the life of Mrs. Barbara "Barb" Sue Harbison will be held in the fall at the Masonic Cemetery in Belknap.
