Stuart "Stu" Miller, 72, of Grand Chain, passed away at 6:23 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025, at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.Stu was born Nov. 14, 1952, in Cairo.Stu was a beloved husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dianna Wright; two daughters, Stephanie (Gary) DeBose and Melissa Parker (Grayson Gile); five grandchildren, Mariah (Austin) Robbins, Zachary Ledbetter (Emily Hailey), Mackenzie Parker (Dustin Barnett), Kristopher Parker (Madison) and Gavin Gile; and six great-grandchildren, Brantley Robbins, Colt Robbins, Everette Robbins, Ryan Ledbetter, Dawson Barnett and Zella Parker.Stu was a Pap to many.He was preceded in death by his parents Ellery A. and Geraldine Mann Miller; and a brother, David Miller.Stu as many knew him by worked at the Vienna Correctional Center until retirement after 29 years.
