There's a new name written in Glory and it's Devon Gary born to the late Hervey L. Sr., and Clara (Brown) Gary, on May 6, 1953, in Mounds, Illinois.
Devon accepted Christ at an early age and continued his faith in the Lord throughout his life. Devon attended Meridian High School in Mounds, Illinois and studied general studies at Shawnee College. He loved studying the bible and never met a stranger. Devon had a great sense of humor and was fun to be around.
Devon will be deeply missed by all his friends and staff members at Fern Terrance Personal Care Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and an infant daughter.
Devon leaves to cherish in his loving and precious memories: two sons, Devon Gary of Mound City, Illinois, Moses (Faith) Gary of Omaha, Nebraska; one daughter, Unice (Stacy) Adams of Herrin, Illinois, four grandchildren; one brother, Gregory Gary of Paducah, Kentucky; one sister, Sarah Ware( Justin) of Kevil, Kentucky; one aunt, Evelyn Johnson of Detroit,
