Geraline W. Rodgers-Prewitt was born October 10, 1941, to Murry Mae and Roy Rodgers in Tamms, Illinois. Geraline was the fourth child of twelve siblings. She departed this life on Monday, February 10, 2025. Geraline was a sweet, giving, and loving person and affectionately known as "Babe" by so many.
Geraline accepted Christ at an early age, then rededicated her life back to the Lord in 1997 and became a member of Second Baptist Church in Tamms, IL under the leadership of Pastor Calvin E. Watson, later Pastor James E. Anderson. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church Choir and volunteered to assist on the kitchen committee.
Geraline attended Tamms Community High School where she graduated from in May of 1959. She worked as a production line worker at Nabisco Factory in the city of Chicago, IL from the year of 1971 until 1981, she was a home health care worker for many years in Chicago and Tamms, IL. She then became employed for the Egyptian School District from the year of 1985
